God Expertise: Therefore since we also are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us run with endurance the race set out for us, keeping our eyes on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and sat down at the right hand of God. Consider Him, therefore, who endured much hostility against himself, so that you might not grow weary and lose heart. Hebrews 12:1-3 Occupation: Student

| Officially, xanga sucks. It used to be cool and now it's just annoying. So, for those of you who read my blogs, you can read them on facebook and comment there. Also, I'll be getting a section on Jeremy's webpage soon, and I will be shutting down xanga after that. For now, here's my update. Everyone who reads this knows that I'm married, I'm extremely happy, and therefore I won't be blogging about that until later when I can do it somewhere that doesn't freeze my computer. But, I love Jeremy!!!! The end. | | |
| I'm not really sure the point of this anymore, because I'm pretty sure only 3 people actually read my blog. It uploads to facebook, but no one ever reads it there. Anyways, I'll do a really quick update anyways. I graduated summa cum laude - that was really cool. Officially I haven't graduated yet though, because my one professor forgot to ever submit a grade for my internship, and that is really not cool. I'm getting married in TEN DAYS!!!!!!!!!! I am soooooo excited, and everything is coming together well. Jeremy and I have been turning our house back into a home like crazy the past few days. It is looking good, but I'll be glad when it's done. I've had a tun of super fun bridal showers, and there is a couple's shower coming up at my church on Sunday. That'll be fun, too. I got a mini-promotion type thing at work. I am now going to be in charge of assembling and organizing all our ancient, never-been-updated flight school curriculum. That's going to be insane, but it definitaly needs to be done. Hopefully I'll get a good raise out of it. I'm worth more than what they're paying me now. Not that I mind - it's still pretty good money, but I would appreciate more. =) Um . . . I had a tire blowout. That was pretty bad, but now I have new tires (thank you Poppa), new hubcaps (thank you Jeremy) and a new alignment (thank you self). So that's good. It's cold and raining. And I have a nagging sinus headache that wont go away. And . . . .that's all. | | |

| I can't decide if today was horrible or ok. I guess stressful would be the best word to describe it. Last night I was using my professors voice recorder for a project, and somehow managed to delete all 81 files on the recorder. I started freaking out and getting really upset. About 45 minutes later, while looking for something else entirely, I found his files and was able to put them back on. I went to bed late and didn't get a lot of homework done. This morning I realized that the homework I spent an hour and a half making for my ESL student didn't go through when I tried to e-mail it to her, and I couldn't find it anywhere. Luckily, my friend who works in the computer lab I made it in was able to find it and send it to me. But it changed the course of our tutoring today. Then I got in my car, running a little late, and realized I had left my lunch in the house. Out of the car, unlock the house, grab lunch. When I turned around I hit my elbow on the dish drying rack and knocked my electric skillet onto the floor, breaking the handle/feet into 4 pieces. But apparently it can be superglued to tide me over until I get the one I registered for. Then I got to school, and due to the new ridiculously crappy parking situation, I had to park about 3 years from where I needed to be. It was 19 degrees and painfully cold as I walked forever to the class I teach/assist in. Class went really well, and so did tutoring. I have a few problems with setting up tutoring schedules though. Then I get back to my car (finally) and discover a parking ticket. Yay. Get to work, my boss tells me I look pekid (thanks a lot), then I leave to run errands. I found a great coat for a great deal and I am super excited about that. I also got a free lotion from Bath and Body Works. Yay! Went to Bible study tonight and it was really, really, really good. Stayed late, came home knowing I would be up late studying for a test and doing homework. As I get out of my car I notice Becca has the door open and her pants rolled up. One of our kitchen sink pipes disconnected and SOAKED our whole kitchen floor. So we spent the next hour fixing the pipe (yes, we women-folk fixed the pipe) and cleaning up the mess. We now have about 10 dirty towels and a super clean floor. So I started my homework at 11:00p.m. I just went downstairs to get my ticket so I could appeal it, when low and behold - it's only a warning. Sigh. I guess this day wasn't as horrible as it felt after all. But I am emotionally tired, not to mention physically (six hours of sleep every night - woo!) But, Stephanie will (Lord willing) get two little girls tomorrow! And that just made my whole night. Yay!!! I also caught up with a dear friend, Angela, who I haven't talked to in FOREVER and it's funny because I was just thinking about her today. Now it is late, I have to wake up in about 5 hours and 15 minutes, so I am going to bed. Goodnight, world. | | |
| For valentine's day I made Jeremy a really cool timeline of our relationship. I cut things out of magazines and put quotes (by myself) in it and stuff. It was super fun. I stayed up til 1:30 a.m. the night before making it. At 2:30 a.m. (unbeknownst to me) Jeremy came over and filled my house with balloons and put out red roses and chocolate. On V-Day he gave me a blanket made with a photo of us on it. It's really cool! Then we drove to Staunton for the day where all our plans proceeded to change but we still had fun. Then I got sick. Then I got better. And this week is Missions Emphasis Week and Steve Saint and Mincaye are coming! YAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYY!!!!! | | |
